Mint, Coral, and Yellow Color Palette

Ok, so we’re headed out of summer and into fall, but here in Florida we tend to see pops of bright colors almost year round!  Planning a spring or summer 2014 wedding?  A mint, coral and yellow color pallet is a great color scheme for a cheerful {indoor OR outdoor} wedding.

Creative Wedding Backdrops

Oftentimes we need to come up with a backdrop for weddings either at the altar, behind the cake, behind the sweetheart table, or maybe at the reception entrance.  I’ve looked up some creative backdrop ideas to inspire you for your own event.  Take this idea and run with it in a direction that suits your style, budget, and the rest of your wedding decor.  The possibilities are endless!

Heart wall stickers

Gold dot decals from Land of Nod.  Great for a wall or ceiling. Wouldn’t they look neat on a black photo booth backdrop?

Another amazing living wall using hanging air plants

Book backdrop! Isn’t this one so perfect for those lifelong scholars, or people who just love to read?

Dreamcatcher backdrop.  Obsessed with this idea.

Vintage door backdrop. How perfect for a rustic wedding!

Tickled Pink’s New Office Space!

We are really looking forward to moving into a shiny new office space this fall at Orlando’s new East End Market.  We’ll be sharing a studio upstairs with friends Imprint Cinema and By The Robinsons. Complete with it’s own unique event space, East End is all about community with local merchants, local food, and a vibrant culture all its own. We can’t wait to be a part of it and to meet with brides and vendors in our new digs.

Dresses That Don’t Scream “Bridesmaid!”

While there are so many wonderful and fashionable bridesmaid dress choices available, I just love when brides choose something more unconventional for their bridal party to wear!  {Clearly I’m becoming really fond of prints and patterns for weddings!}  What are you choosing for your maids?

Real Wedding: Sara + Nick’s Wedding Video at Cypress Grove Estate

Sara and Nick’s wedding day was filled with plenty of fun, joy, and nothing less than complete happiness. By the looks of it, one would never know that at this beautiful Cypress Grove Estate House wedding, temperatures were in the low 60’s {chilly to us Floridians}!  Sara and Nick were not going to let anything get in the way of their special day. Thank you Sugar Pop Films for catching every moment of this special day on camera for us all to sit back and enjoy!
