Real Wedding: Faith + Scott at Leu Gardens
Faith and Scott were instantly the kind of clients I clicked with, got along with, laughed with, and completely shared in their joy. Their wedding planning was thoughtful and included sweet Southern touches that fit perfectly at their venue, Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando. They were meant to be married under a grand old oak tree on the lawn, but the weather had other plans for us. Even in Februrary, weather in Florida is temperamental! After hours of morning rain, we were forced to move the ceremony indoors but this couple took it in stride and didn’t for a minute let that get them down. Such a gracious and loving couple, they were just happy to get married! Lots of personal details were incorporated into this wedding, like the 200 year old bible that belongs to Scott’s family that was carried down the aisle in the processional, Scott’s dad serving as best man, and a heartfelt song that Faith sang to Scott to begin the reception. We added all sorts of Southern elements including Faith’s gorgeous lace gown, mini pies by P is for Pie, babies breath and mason jars, chalkboard table numbers and the beautiful floral arrangements in wooden boxes by Orlando-based florist Bluegrass Chic. Nikki at Wings of Glory Photography captured the day with the stunning photos below. Enjoy!
