Blush and Navy Wedding at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center

Pleased as punch to share Brynn and Justin’s gorgeous and heartfelt wedding day with you, as photographed by Kristen Weaver, and filmed by Love and Lustre! Brynn and I go back quite a few years, as she has been a bridesmaid in a number of weddings I’ve planned and when it was her turn to plan a wedding I had the honor of getting a call from her, too. It’s always the sweetest thing to be referred by past clients, but this one topped them all with three past brides, one past Tickled Pink employee, and a guest whose wedding we are currently working on all in attendance!

Kristen Weaver posted about some of the challenges we overcame on this wedding here. Because it was a very busy day in downtown Orlando with a music festival, streets blocked off, and other special events in the city, we improvised on portrait locations and found the perfect place at the Rollins College campus. The couple’s two dogs even made a cameo or two for portraits outdoors and pictured at the bar of the Dr. Phillips Center as featured cocktail names (Lyric and Hudson!). I know I’m not alone when I say I was OBSESSED with Brynn’s wedding gown! Hints of blush pink and navy, a US Navy uniformed groom, city views and the most stunning chandelier made this a night to remember. We may have stayed late at this one removing bits of streamer confetti from the rafters… sign of a great party for sure!
